We call it “popcorn shrimp” because of its snackable size, but the name says nothing of the protein, crunch and irresistible flavor packed into each little bite. We start with the very best plump little shrimp, then add a crispy breading that fries up into a snack you just can’t stop popping.
PAN FRY OR DEEP FRY
Do not thaw.
Simple Preparation Instructions: For best taste and texture, pan or deep fry the shrimp.
Pan Fry: Place frozen breaded shrimp in 1-inch of hot, but not smoking oil and fry for 2 ½ minutes. Turn frequently. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain, and serve immediately.
Deep Fry: Place frozen breaded shrimp separately in shortening or oil at 350°F for 2 ½ minutes. Turn frequently. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain, and serve immediately.
